WTF. Seriously, HOW hard is it to pronounce Angelique? I was called Angela for the quadrillionth time today! Those names do not sound similar enough to be mistaken for each other, in my opinion.

Does this happen to anyone else? Is there a name that you are *constantly* being referred by (instead of your real name)?

My name is Aubrey and I am often called Audrey by the bank, telemarketers, credit card companies...even people who have just read my name off my ID or whom I have just introduced myself to as "Aubrey" will sometimes call me "Audrey".
