i've seen that work sort of once. i think it was a james + vanessa thing which made janessa. which isnt too horrendous.

i dont particularly like jaylee. asher wouldve been fine for a boy. i think that's a name from the giver? jonah's friend? i could be way off, but that's what it reminds me of.

yeah, i don't like Jaylee, either... but i definitely see it more on a girl than a boy. also, i think it's less confusing spelled that way, rather than Jay-ley. i think the kid's doomed to be called "Jay-Lay" at some point lol.
