Ok, so here you go. I am 5 weeks today and already thinking of names. My hubby and I are pretty set on a girl.


Ava Elizabeth simple and all. A boy however....

he likes the name Liam, I am not opposed to this however I like the name Liam with the middle name Cash (cashe for another spelling). Liam Cash actually sounds awesome to me. So how do I convince him of this? I am willing to settle for Liam since I picked it out awhile ago when we started trying. So if I am going to settle with it then yeah..I want Cash.

Liam Thomas (although I am still set on cash it is a name we dicussed)
Matthew Wyatt
Rya Xavier (pronounced rye-a)
Xavier Cash.

I don't like Cash at all, but I like Liam. If you're totally set on using Cash, I'd say just say, "I'd like to compromise, since we're using the first name you like."

That said, I think Liam Thomas is a much better choice.

I like Ava Elizabeth, even though half of the girls born these days are named Ava Elizabeth. I'm not sure about Cash. Is it after Johnny Cash, or something?

Of the names you listed, I definitely like Matthew Wyatt the best.

You'll call him Liam right? I don't see anything wrong with using Cash as a middle name. It isn't like your husband will have to call him Cash everyday. Middle names are so rarely used that I think we can be a little different with them.

I agree with the above posters. It's a valid point that since you're compromising on the first name, it's his turn to compromise on the middle name. Also, his middle name will hardly ever come into play, so I don't think it will be a source of constant tension or anything.

liam cash is very unique and i would try my best to convince ur hubby its a great name. like write it everywhere make it a password to ur computerso he has to constantly spell it lol.

I prefer William with the nick name Liam.

And I'm not overly fond of Cash, but in a middle name it's okay to use something more unusual.

I like Logan Thomas and Matthew, but not with Wyatt as a middle name. How about Matthew Thomas or Matthew Cash?
