WDYT of Étoile (star in French)? My cousin used it as a middle name for her daughter, Rachel Étoile, a few years ago. Apparently it is her husband's grandmother's middle name as well. I think it's cute as a middle name, but probably wouldn't be gutsy enough to use it as a first.

Also, WDYT of the name Haven for a boy. I know someone who used it, and it's different. Her parent's were freaking out because they thought it was horrible and that he'd get teased a bunch and stuff, but I assured them with some of the names coming out now, he'd be fine.

Also, some different names of people I know:

I really like Etoile. It's actually been a name I've liked for years and we may use it, but I do have other names I like better. I wouldn't mind using it as a first name. One reason I might like it better as a middle name is I find foerign words don't always flow as well in American English.

Te other names-- the only really horrible one is Shaman.
I meat a Phylicia the other day. :/
