TOYS
The kids I babysit (Sophie May and Ashley Joseph for the record) have a cute dog toy called Caesar. The kids are pretty worldly and have lived all over Europe and apparently came up with the name themselves, which is cool.
On second thoughts, their second favourite toy is called Rainbow Doggy :P
When I was small I had a bear I named Baxter and a bigger bear called Boris, and a dolphin statue I called Dolphy. Pretty clear-cut names.

PETS
I also named my dog Zac (short for Zachary Blue) as a tribute to my favourite band at that time (Hanson ha. C'mon, I was ten. I didn't even like Zac Hanson. Taylor all the way!)
And going back even further, we had a peacock called Bert, a brown hamster called Blacky and a white hamster called Goldy, Rastus the rooster and fish called Oliver and Cedric.

What did you call your toys and/or pets?

The entire family was involved in naming our dogs as well, and everyone did get to veto names (like how my brother wanted to name Franklin Sharky), but generally my mom's the one who picks the name. Of course, she's the one the dogs like the most, so...

Great Pyrenees have tons of hair, but they are loveable. And Jake's fairly the same, just smaller.

It's not that we tend towards large dogs, it's more that we always wanted to have one small dog and one large dog at a time, and the large dogs died faster than the smaller ones did... our family does not have a good track record with large dogs.

Yeah, that's the bad thing about big dogs. Though, Maddie was eleven when they had to put her to sleep and Andie is twelve years old and still going.

We also have a pomeranian. So, I get the big dog, small dog thing, lol.
