So I am pretty set in my 2 names.

Which spelling do you prefer?

Naliyah Michelle Daley
Naliya Michelle Daley
(pronounced Na-LEE-a) nickname: Nala

and for a boy I would like to have 2 middle names because I want to honour my biological dad as well as my step dad (who I do not consider a step dad since he has raised me since I was 2...my biological dad passed away when I was 4 months old)

For a boy I want the first name to be Gavin.

My dad's names are:
Robert James
Michael Thomas

so I was thinking:
Gavin Michael James Daley

I just don't like the name Robert.

What other combinations do you suggest?

In terms of intuitive spelling, I'd go for Naliyah over Naliya, cos Naliya says 'Naah-li-ah' rather than 'Na-lee-ah' to me.

I like Gavin Michael James - you're still honoring both dads. If you don't like Robert, you don't like Robert, and the nod is still there.

Naliyah is really really pretty I think.

Although the nickname Nala reminds me of the Lion King. Plus it's my cat's name hehe! Depends on where you live though and whether the name will still have that reference I guess :D

I prefer Naliyah for intuitive spelling!
But honestly Nala doesn't sound 'right', it makes me want to read it 'Nay-la'. Nali is much cuter, imo :)

Gavin Michael James sound so good! :D
Michael James is also a quite traditional combination, so it's classy, you can't go wrong with that one ;) I also like Gavin in itself!

I prefer Naliya. It looks neater.
I think Gavin Thomas James flows well.

Gavin is an awesome name, it's my uncle's name. He's also got two middle names with it: Gavin Ray John Muir.

Also I think Naliyah is very pretty and Nala for a nickname is sweet.

Naliya(h) seems like a kre8yv name to me, but it's pretty nonetheless (I'm so sorry if it's a real name btw and I offend).

I prefer it Naliya, because extra h's just add that 'trendy' factor.

Also, you could use one of your step/father's names on Gavin, because if you have another kid you could use the other one!

I prefer the Naliya spelling. The h just doesn't seem necessary.

Gavin Michael James is great. Gavin Thomas James is another good combo.

I would pronounce them differently.

Naliyah - the ending sounding like liar
Naliya- the ending sounding like ear

I prefer the second one, regardless of how you say it as I don't like random H's on names that already look rather made up.

Gavin isn;t my kind of name either. It brings to mind a rather thuggish persona, however I think Michael James is fine.
I hate Robert and Thomas so I'd go with those two if they were my choices.

perfect!
