Dec. 4th, 2007 02:23 amSo I am pretty set in my 2 names.
Which spelling do you prefer?
Naliyah Michelle Daley
Naliya Michelle Daley (pronounced Na-LEE-a) nickname: Nala
and for a boy I would like to have 2 middle names because I want to honour my biological dad as well as my step dad (who I do not consider a step dad since he has raised me since I was 2...my biological dad passed away when I was 4 months old)
For a boy I want the first name to be Gavin.
My dad's names are:
Robert James
Michael Thomas
so I was thinking:
Gavin Michael James Daley
I just don't like the name Robert.
What other combinations do you suggest?

Date: 2007-12-04 09:26 am (UTC)Although the nickname Nala reminds me of the Lion King. Plus it's my cat's name hehe! Depends on where you live though and whether the name will still have that reference I guess :D

Gavin Michael James sound so good! :D
Michael James is also a quite traditional combination, so it's classy, you can't go wrong with that one ;) I also like Gavin in itself!

Date: 2007-12-04 01:06 pm (UTC)I prefer it Naliya, because extra h's just add that 'trendy' factor.
Also, you could use one of your step/father's names on Gavin, because if you have another kid you could use the other one!

Date: 2007-12-04 02:41 pm (UTC)Naliyah - the ending sounding like liar
Naliya- the ending sounding like ear
I prefer the second one, regardless of how you say it as I don't like random H's on names that already look rather made up.
Gavin isn;t my kind of name either. It brings to mind a rather thuggish persona, however I think Michael James is fine.
I hate Robert and Thomas so I'd go with those two if they were my choices.
perfect!
Date: 2007-12-04 03:02 pm (UTC)Gaven Michael James Daley

Date: 2007-12-04 10:16 pm (UTC)Well I'm not having twins so I will just have one or the other so I don't think it matters if they're similar. And Michelle is my sister's name.
