(no subject)

Names I'm digging for a girl:
Ava/Eva
Bronwyn
Isobel
Calliope
Penelope
Veronica
Clio
Daphne

For middle names: Emily, Elizabeth, Audrey (good classy family names)

For boys: it'll probably be Bennett

My husband LOVES Madeline for a girl, which I also like, but I'm not feeling it for my own.

What do you think?

i absolutely love calliope, but could never use it because i detest the nickname callie. i like penelope too, and the nickname poppy is cute.

isabel is a top favorite of mine.

i like madeline, but yea, its too common right now, imo.

bennett is very cool, with the right last name. and it shortens easily to ben.

You could also go with Nellie, or Nell for Penelope, though I also really like the name Penny.

I LOVE Eva, Penelope, Veronica and Daphne
I like Calliope and Clio (though it makes me think of some crazy fortune tellers or something, I know they're the names of two of the muses) and Isabel is alright, but I don't like it spelled Isobel
I dislike Bronwyn and Ava has always been kind yawn to me, and with it's rise in popularity, it totally bores me.

And don't rule Madeline out just yet... I used to not care for it but recently it's been growing on me. I find it's a definite "grow on you" kinda name

I really love Bronwyn. I went to high school with a girl named Bronwyn and it fit her well. She was the only Bronwyn in the school, so it was definitely unique, but it was never "weird".

I love Bronwen! I like Ava (I like Eva, too, but pn with a short e), Isobel, and Veronica (Had a friend with that name and we called her Vern; it was sooo cute).

I like Ava and Bronwyn. Do you like the name Ainsley? It just sounds like something you would like (I like the name Ainsley Bronwyn).

I never really thought of it that way--you make a good point! I've never seen the name on anybody before, though, either.

Ava/Eva - too popular,a nd I don't like them!
Bronwyn - Like
Isobel - Love this spelling!
Calliope - not a fan
Penelope - Love it, and the nn Penny!
Veronica - Don't like
Clio - is a car...
Daphne - Not my style - too 'old' sounding!

Greek mythology, anyone? =P
I like almost all of your names, except for Veronica & Calliope. I guess Veronica is just not my style, and even though I like original names, Calliope is too out there, even for my taste ;)

I've always had this liking for the name Calliope. It's odd, because it's not really my name style. I love Madeline too! Such a classic name.

I like
Isobel and Daphne and Madeleine

Daphne is my absolute favourite name ever, so yeah.... love that one lol.

I also like Veronica, Penelope and Ava.

I love the name Ava, but I'm weird and require nicknames... so it doesn't work for me. But it's pretty, I think

And I love Isobel, though I favor "Isabella" personally. Do you pronounce it "Iz-OH-Bell" or "Iz-AH-bell"?

And I think Bennett is a fun, cute name. I adore it!

good luck!!
