Hi everyone,

Three of my closest friends have had babies in the past couple of weeks. Including 2 born on the same day (yesterday). They all had girls.
There names are: Kaitlin Lily (Her older sister is Amelia Victoria)
                                  Neve Leala (Pr Neeve Leela)
                                  Anna Lucinda.

Knowing the kind of names Kaitlin's mum likes I have to say I think both Kaitlin and Amelia were lucky. Anna is okay but to be frank I think that Neve Leala looks and sounds like a hookers name!

I still can't get over Neve Leala. It just doesn't seem like a name her parents would have picked for her. I thought they'd use something classical.

Neve is fine but Leala causes major pronounciation issues.
As do Leila, Layla, Lila etc.

Anna Lucinda is quite cool. I like plain first names with unusual middle names.

I love Kaitlin Lily and Amelia Victoria, though I definitely prefer Caitlin to Kaitlin.

I don't like the spelling Neve Leala, I do like Niamh Leila though. [layla not leela]

Anna Lucinda is pretty.

I think Anna Lucinda sounds like a 19th century white stripper, but I don't really have a problem with Neve Leala.

I LOVE Amelia Victoria and Anna Lucinda. Neve is okay, but I have the urge to pronounced it Nev (like the first syllable of "never") like Neve Campbell. The pronunciation with Leela is just too much "ee" for me. Kaitlin Lily is okay, but just sounds *so* trendy.

Lily is a family name.

I also want to pronounce Neve Nev. When I first saw the name I was pronouncing it that way.

I don't mind the sound of neeve but I only like it spelled Niamh.

Definately not my favorite bunch of names. Kaitlin and Lily are pretty on their own, but they don't flow well together, IMO. Neve Leala is just...I dunno. Plus, I'd end up pronouncing Neve differently. Anna Lucinda....just makes me think too much of Ana-Lucia.

I don't love any of them either. I do like Amelia and I don't hate Kaitlin. Anna is a bit of a nothing name to me, but Neve Leala. It's just horrible!

I'm not especially fond of Neve, but pronounced neev? Gahhh! Neev Leela sounds kinda silly to me, like a character from a sci-fi or fantasy novel, maybe.

Kaitlin - dont like
Lily - cute name though i can only picture a little girl
Amelia - would prefer amelie
Victoria - soooo serious
Neve - seems ok by itself
Leala - i like layla or leila
Anna Lucinda - very old-fashioned sounding, like somebody's grandma

i guess im just not very fond of this set, haha.

Lily and Victoria are both family names. Out of all the names I like Amelia the best.

Neve Leala is seriously one of the worst names I have come across though. Gorgeous baby - she just has a bad name!

I like Kaitlin and Lily... but not together. It makes me think of "calla lily".. but it's okay. Amelia Victoria is pretty.
I don't like Neve.. it sounds like a nickname or something. But Leala isn't that bad..
Anna is a classic name.. so it's fine.. but Lucinda with it just sounds terrible to me.

When I first saw it I said oh it's Nev but then I asked and they are pronouncing it Neev. It made me hate the name even more.

I love Anna Lucinda. The others are...meh. Kaitlin Lily and Amelia Victoria sound too similar - too many i's and l's and -ia's respectively.

I'm getting a tiny giggle because I'm Katherine, and my sister is Amelia. I go by Kate, and people assume that Kate is short for Katelyn all the time. Ergo, Kate and Amelia!

I like Niamh, but not Neve. I like Lucinda, but not with Anna.
