I pronounce it muh-RIN because the only girl I know with that name pronounces it that way. And I don't really have strong feelings about it either way.
I LOVE the name Marin, but I prefer it spelled Maren. It's such a great name:)

IMO, I prefer the pronunciation of muh-RIN. But that's probably because 1) it doesn't rhyme with my name then and 2) it's the original pronunciation I heard from one of my friends in France. I think the fact that MARE-in rhymes with my name is what really turns me off that pronunciation though, so that's really a personal hang-up.
