Do you guys have names on your list that YOU say a certain way, but OTHERS say a completely different way? But you love the name too much to take it off, even though you know it's going to be a hassle to keep reminding everyone how to say it?
We're trying to decide if we would ever use Juliana, pronounced our preferred way of yoo-lee-AH-nah. But we're worried that too many people would pronounce it joo-lee-AH-nah, which is a pronunciation I flat-out hate. We've considered Uliana, but I'm not too fond of the spelling -- it's just "okay".
So, anyone else have names like this? I know Sara/Sarah is a very common one. And thoughts on the name Juliana in general? Thoughts on Uliana?

I probably wouldn't use it myself though because of the pronouncation problem.
I like the spelling Uliana for the way you want it pronounced, though.

The only one I worry about people mispronouncing is Madeline/Madeleine. I say Madeline with the -LINE pronunciation, and Madeleine not like -LYN, but more like -LEN.
