Date: 2007-11-19 11:08 pm (UTC)With that being said.. I'm not too fond of Delia or Cordelia. I'd prefer Delia as the name not just a nn, if anything, though. But that reminds me of that store.. delias?

Date: 2007-11-19 11:11 pm (UTC)I've just searched the meaning of it and I'm a little puzzled: I recalled it was some sort of flower-related name (unless I am getting confused with Dahlia), but my source tells me that it means 'dark' in welsh, as well as it is commonly short for Cordelia, which is supposed to be greek. Would you happen to have different info about it? :)
Ilya is the one russian name I've always been quite fond of.

Date: 2007-11-20 12:06 am (UTC)I lovelovelove Sasha as a nick name for Alexander/Aleksandr. If I ever had a kid with a Russian guy and it was a boy, he would be named Alexander, called Sasha. Some other names I like are Natalya, Alexei, Tatyana and Dmitri.
