Nov. 18th, 2007 04:46 pmThis was prompted by an earlier post and got me thinking...
Megan
Meagan
Meaghan
Meghan
Any more variations? Which do you all prefer and how would pronounce each of them? Just interested in this name very much (I love the name Megan whoops! typo on the first one! especially, definitely on my top list) and would appreciate any feedback on it! :D

Date: 2007-11-18 08:35 am (UTC)I spell it Megan.
I went to school with another Megan, a Meghan and a Meaghan. I prefer my spelling followed by Meghan. Meaghan has too many extras for me.
And I hate when people call me Meeee-gan. My neighbour's name is Meeeegan and I refuse to say it. So I call her 'John's wife' (because he's lived there longer....and I have a crush on him.) =P

Date: 2007-11-18 08:36 am (UTC)Megan Gray. Do you guys think it sounds bad? It bothered me for the longest time.
Actually I just disliked my last name. But after watching Catch and Release I'm kind of starting to appreciate the name Gray for being kind of likable. =]
Lots of talking, I know,...sorry.

Date: 2007-11-18 01:09 pm (UTC)I pronounce Meagan as Mee-gan, so the name changes to me in that spelling.
Meaghan has just too many letters.

Date: 2007-11-18 11:37 pm (UTC)I had a best friend named Megan when I was little.
I hate people who pronounce it Mee-gan or May-gan. I've seen it spelled Meggin once--horrible. Someone tried spelling my name Meggiann. Wow.
