I never asked - how far apart do you plan on having them?

Date: 2005-10-31 01:10 pm (UTC)Yes, it is do-able, because you'll have plenty of hand me downs, especially if you always get gender neutral clothing and things, which is what we intend to do.
That's a toughie, because it depends on what our first born is. If it's a boy, then I will wait about two years and then TTC. If it's a girl though, I will TTC within the year after she is born, because I don't quite care for the family/sibling dynamics of first born female that is more than 2 years older than her next sibling. So, if we have a girl first, I at least want her to be close in age to her next sibling, whether that be a brother or sister. If it's a brother, then they will be on the same level (see Andrew's issue), and if they are sisters I hope they will have a closer bond than siblings farther apart. My reasoning for these things is that Andrew is very thick headed sometimes about protecting girls, and the way I was raised, this would only make for parenting clashes and a devious older girl like I was.
Just my thinking though, I haven't tested it...yet! The way to go is a set of boy/girl twins first...or boy/boy. :) Don't we all wish it was that easy to plan our lives??
