Kaya is another name for marijuana. I didn't know this either, but a friend of mine lives in a big city and adopted a dog by that name and was later informed by friends of it's meaning. :/

Jared. Maybe Travis or Wyatt or Evan?

My sister's name is Tawnya. You came close to this spelling, but not quite, so I thought I would throw it in the mix. I happen to like this spelling the best, but then again, I am biased because it seems like the "correct" way.

Kaya/Kiya/Kaia (don't know which spelling) is also the name of Willow's wife from the movie of the same title -- from what, the 80's? I think it is pretty.

Glad to be of help! :) I think they are both very beautiful names!

Wanna give me some assistance with something? I am due in 5 weeks with twin boys, and we are still not done naming them!! Aghh! We have a feeling we will be taking a short list with us to the hospital, and making a choice while looking into their angel faces...

My husband is Anthony Milton, I am Heather Jean, and my 3 year-old is Matthew Milton.

One twin-name is set: Tyler James.
Now for "the list" for Tyler and Matthew's brother:
Wesley Ryan
Michael Ryan
Daniel McKay
Michael Andrew
Jason Ryan
Jason Andrew

hmmm... yeah, those are the top-runners currently.

Which gets your vote? TIA (thanks in advance!)

I like Tanya, Sonya, and Jared, but I dislike the others, although Tawny is kind of cute. I prefer Cleo to Clea.

my name is tanya! but...i don't like my name. i think it's the best spelling, though.
tawny is kind of cute, it reminds me of the owl. sonya reminds me of sony, but it's still kinda pretty. clea sounds like it should be cleo, and it makes me think of some kind of..erm, body part. i don't know why. kaya is my least favorite of your list.
some other ideas: carla, donna, dora, thea, theresa, tessa, chloe, zoe, lydia, tamera

jared is cute.
some other ideas: jett, jasper, julian, adrian, damian, ross, harvey, anthony, david.

Tonya/Tanya is dull, and makes me think of that skanky girl from The Real World: Chicago.

Tawny sounds stripper-esque. Actually, all of the female names are stripper-esque.

I do like Jared.

I do like Clea.. because it's not as common or as risque as the person above me mentioned. Jared is nice. Some other suggestions for a J name: Jarett, Jareth, Jordan..

I LOVE the name Tanya, when pronounced with a proper short A for the first syllable (NOT the same as Tonya — the sound and spelling of which I hate).
