I don't know if anyone else watches Pushing Daisies, but one of the victims this week was named Bradan Caden. It made me laugh!

I also got a new client this week named Caizha Augutus lastname. His brother is named Nikita, his sister is Myrrikal.....and mom is Urania.

PS...I made a poll a minute ago but seem to be suffering from some technical difficulties. If it shows up later a million times, I apologize in advance:)

Now, Urania knows how it feels to be teased unmercifully for having an unusual name. How could she name her daughter Myrrikal and her son Nikita? She's just cruel.

I read a book years ago which had a character named Leland L. Leland. They never said for sure, but hinted that his middle name was also Leland. Thank goodness it was fiction, like Braden Caden.

I knew a guy in school named Logan Logan. I have no idea what his middle name was, or if he even had one, but the first and last were bad enough.

Nikita isn't that weird; it's a traditional Russian boy's name. However, the rest are um...different. Augustus isn't bad, but Caizha and Myrrikal (especially Myrrikal) are awful.

Yeah, and judging by the other names, it was probably picked because she thought it WASN'T a real name and not because of some Russian heritage;)

Oh I didn't see what was so bad about Myrrikal [except the heinous spelling lol] until I said it out loud.

Oh dear.

Who on earth would name their boy Nikita? And as for Myrrikal...I don't even have a word for that.

I'm aware that it's Russian, but I understood it to be of feminine origin, and I've only heard the name on females.
