Oh and I was looking over some old paper work yesterday and i saw that my boss's middle name is:
Ziegler (Zeeg-ler)


What do you think?


I like Cambria but not so much Ziegler.

I like Ziegler, but it's more of a last name to me, so I'd only use it as a middle, and only if there was really a reason for it. It's not a name I'd use just for the hell of it. Maybe it's a family last name?

Hmm yeah it could be like Coheed and Cambria. I wasn't even thinking of them lol. I was watching Life Of Ryan and one of his many girl friend possibilities is named Cambria.

Isn't Cambria a place, or a county? Something geographical? It sounds so familiar. Its pretty =).
I don't like Ziegler all that much. I do like Sieger though. It means 'conqueror' or 'victor' in German =)

I looked it up further and I think technically Cambria is the latin form of Cymru, which is the actual Welsh word for Wales.

I know a boy named Cambrian! All I can think of is the Cambrian Explosion/Era. To me, it'd be like naming your child Jurassic.

Ziegler is kind of fun. You'd have to have a strong personality to pull it off as a first name, though.

Cambria is my favourite name for a girl. I love that it is the Latin for Wales (even though I usually hate place names on people), because I have Welsh heritage but dislike a lot of Welsh girls' names. Also, Coheed and Cambria are my favourite band, although in a way that puts me off a little because I'm not sure I would want to name a child after a band. Anyway, the main thing is that I think it sounds lovely. I like a lot of names that start with C and end in A: Cordelia, Cressida, Carissa, Camilla...but Cambria is my favourite.

As for Ziegler...that was my 1st grade teacher's LAST name, so..I'm going to guess that it was a family name. Maybe mom's maiden name.

I knew a girl once whose name was Cambria. She went by Cami for short. I thought it was cute. :o)
