I was looking at the nursery listings at a nearby hospital and they have the names and pics of babies born in the past few months.

Jersey Jo (girl)
Katie Marie
Venessa Lynn
Abbigail Carolyne

I can honestly say I don't like any of these names. I don't have strong feels about any of them either, though, except Jersey Jo. Jersey? Not my fave.

What is it with all of the warped spellings? I wouldn't mind Abigail Caroline, but Abbigail Carolyne?!? Come on now. And Jersey Jo about made me shoot Pepsi out of my nose. Poor children.

The name Avery is so ugly. Seriously. I know a lot of people in here like it, but the surge in popularity bewilders me.

If they'd spelled Vanessa correctly, I'd be cool with it :-(

I actually think Jersey Jo is the best of them...or maybe Kaitlyn Rose, and I'm not a big fan of those names by any means, so that's sad

I like the name Katelyn.. but Lindsey as a middle name sucks with that

We had a cat at the shelter I worked at called Jersie Jane, which was on her tag. I don't see the appeal.
