I've been saying for awhile now that my favourite boy's name is Lachlan/Lachlin because I love the nn Lachi (Lock-ee) and if I named a kid Lachlan they would definitely go by Lachi all the time. I'm honestly not even that crazy about the name Lachlan. I just love Lachi.

I also like the name Malachi and I just realized that it has 'lachi' in it.

So: Lachi as a nn for Malachi?
Do you guys think it works? Have you heard it before?

ah, i say it like Mal-uh-kai, so the Lachi (lock-ee) nickname doesn't really make sense to me... if it was said like Mal-uh-key, then Lachi would be really cute.
