what a gorgeous name. It doesn't flow aswell as Sophie Elysse but my name is Sophie and I've always wished it was Sophia.

Elysse is an unusual spelling but I think it's pretty. I'm partial to Elyse, the extra S is quirky.

Actually, that's what I was going for, I never even thought of syphilis (although it is one of my favorite words). I didn't know if Sophie Ellis Bextor was a big enough pop culture thing for there to be an immediate association.
