Old Testament Prophets

These names are getting popular or have been. The obscure names are those that are considered "extremely biblical". Daniel and Elijah are old favourites.
How about: Nehemiah, Zecheriah, Malachi, Obadiah, Jeremiah, etc.

I love bibical names, the more obscure, the better. I think Nehemiah is quite pretty, and I prefer the modern form Jeremy to Jeremiah. Malachi is also neat, though I don't see myself using it. And I like Zechariah instead of Zachariah.

I have a nephew named Ezra. He, along with the name, is adorable. =]

I really like Jeremiah and always have, but Nehemiah is really nice too.

I love Biblical names, and I'm not even Christian.
Daniel is one of my favorites. I also like Zecheriah (and Zachariah), and my friend's sister named her kid Jeremiah James, it's cute. And her other son is Elijah

I like some Biblical names =)
Jeremiah is really pretty, IMO.
It annoys me that Nehemiah reminds me of the overly popular, unpronouncable 'Nevaeh'.

Ugh, I hate that stupid 'heaven spelled backwards name'
It's Ne-vay-uh though, isn't it?
Actually that's what I've always though but now that I look at it it isn't spelled that way. Hmmm.

I like Noah, Ezra and Malachi. Not because they're bible names though..I just like them.

Malachi is pronounced Mal-uh-keye right? Not Mal-uh-chee..

I think Malachi is MAL-uh-kai and Malachy is MAL-uh-kee, but I could be wrong.

Malachi is okay. I'm not fond of Zecheriah and Obadiah. I have a cousin named Jeremiah, and Jeremiah and Nehemiah sound very similar, so I'm not fond of either of those, either.

I love Malachi and Jeremiah. I actually love biblical names even though I don't consider myself at all religious.

Jeremiah is already getting hugely popular.

I would never use Malachi because of The Sirens of Titan.

My best friend named his daughter Neahmiah. He says it's a feminized version of Nehemiah, and that he prayed for inspiration over it, and was pointed to the book of Nehemiah.

I think Neahmiah (they pronounce it knee-ah-my-ah) is a beautiful name for a little girl who I love to pieces!
