Peppermint!

Sorry, I had to.

I can't think of any P names that sound good with Patty - maybe Portia? My faves are Poppy and Piper, though neither of them work with Patty.

On second thought, Portia Patty could end up being called Porta-Potty.

...mentally, I'm seven, what can I say?

Is it Patty or Patricia?
My BF named her daughter Shoshanna Patricia Anne

I'd use Patricia. It's still partially after the person, but a little different.

Something long sounds best with Patty as a middle name, IMO (especially ending in 'a'):

Alexandra Patty
Angelina Patty
Gabriella Patty
Cassandra Patty
Francesca Patty

This is a bad idea.

Paige Patty
Paisley Patty
Pandora Patty
Paris Patty
Parker Patty
Parrish Patty
Petra Patty
Peyton Patty
Phoenix Patty
Pier Patty
Piper Patty
Pollyanna Patty

I think you should really suggest having them use Patricia, if you could. It would sound so much nicer as a middle name and a lot easier to pick a first name.

Pandora and Phoenix have the added bonus of fitting well with Delilah.

I totally agree about the middle name. Patty by itself sounds weird. After all, they didn't name the big sister Delilah Debbie.

His mother's name is actually Patty, and not Patricia? That's odd.

My name is Danielle Patricia, and because I've had it for 26 years, it sounds fine to me, but others may disagree.

I also think a P first and middle name leads to a lot of peepee jokes.

I don't mind Piper Patty.

Beef. No, seriously, anything you put in front of it will sound idiotic, like it's a patty made of the first name. A Megan Patty is a patty made of Megan, and a Juniper Patty is a patty made of Juniper.

I'm SURE the granny won't be offended if they use Patricia instead; Patricia is surely honoring the lady enough?

And if they continued the alliteration theme (and let me say that those two words next to each other are doubly troubling), their second daughter will be P. P. Lastname. Like P. P. Miller or P. P. Johnson (GOD FORBID: peepee Johnson?!).

No alliteration. No Patty as a middle. Heaven's sake...

Yeah, I'd go with Patricia for the middle name, but that's just me.

If they do go with Patty as a middle name, pllllease discourage them from having the first name start with a P as well. I grew up with the initials K.K. and ALLL through school people asked me if my initials were actually K.K.K. And thats not even as bad as being called Peepee.
