His mom was named Rozmee.

Remy is a cool name, but I'm not huge on it spelled"Raimey." Rozmee is a bit too unusual for my tastes.

I think they're both quite awful, unless there's some ethnic or cultural link I'm not aware of.

Sounds like a nickname for Raymond. Its not too bad though. I don't like hers but I like the nickname Roz for it.
