I think I prefer Clare over Claire, because the 'i' looks a little excessive, but what do you guys think? Is the name too plain, too blah in your opinion?

And how would you pronounce Clara?

Where are you from? It may be that your accent lets you say the name differently.

I say Clare/Claire like, Klar, but sometimes I say it too quickly and the 'r' isn't properly pronounced.

I don't say it like Klar, on second though. I say it to rhyme with bear.
