So, I'm due in 3 weeks (probably less) and I was talking about names on a due date community.

It got me thinking about the name thing pretty hard, and I was all excited because I thought I'd settled on the name combos that really made me happy. My husband and I have only really discussed the name thing a couple of times and haven't managed to agree on anything much... but I think he's going to leave it up to me, with veto power if I pick something he really hates.

I was in bed later and it occurred to me then that the initials on those name combos that I liked are totally, utterly unacceptable.

S.H.T.

argh.

Now I have to either sacrifice the middle names, or come up with a new first name (the one I picked is unisex, with different middle names for boy/girl).

No... my first name begins with an A, my second name begins with an S, my last name begins with a T. If I changed my last name to something that started with an S, it would make my initials ASS.
