What do you think of the name Myfanwy ? It's Welsh and it's pronounced
Mih-FAHN-wee
Meh-FAHN-way
Muh-FAHN-oy
Mah-VON-wee
depending on where the pronouncer is from lol.
It means "my beloved one", "my sweet woman".

I think it's rather entertaining, but probably makes for a good middle name, if it's your taste.

I think if used anywhere outside of Wales, it's going to be pronounced/spelled wrong ALL THE TIME. Same thing with the Gaelic versions of names (like Siobhan, etc).

That said, Myfanwy is...well, I'm going to have to agree with _____citylight and roifosch that it looks more like "My fanny" than any of the pronunciations you have listed.

I really didn't think of 'my fanny' until everyone started to mention it. Maybe it's because I'm not a native English speaker.
