Sep. 22nd, 2007 12:38 pmWhat do you think of the name Myfanwy ? It's Welsh and it's pronounced
Mih-FAHN-wee
Meh-FAHN-way
Muh-FAHN-oy
Mah-VON-wee
depending on where the pronouncer is from lol.
It means "my beloved one", "my sweet woman".
I think it's rather entertaining, but probably makes for a good middle name, if it's your taste.

Date: 2007-09-23 11:43 am (UTC)Meh-FAHN-wee is how I pronounce it.
I could use it, as I live in Wales, and I don't think it'd get mispronouced/misspelled here, but I could never ever get past the Little Britain connection!
