babynames How do you guys feel about naming your child after a person(s) who have inspired you? A teacher, a family member, a friend, etc.
Well, I've always been a huge believer in doing so -- especially with the people in my life -- but I'm in a bit of a dilemma. The hubby and I are trying to conceive again, and since he had the "privilege" of naming our current daughter (Emily May -- after his best friend and his mother), I get to be the deciding factor this time around. But all of the people I want to name my children after... unfortunately, don't have any of my favorite names.
The people are:
Taryn Lawson
Erica Marie
Kimberly Jane
Sara Lynn
Andrew James
John Alexander
Douglas Ryan
Trent Lane
The only combo of those names that I like in the tiniest bit is John Douglas or Douglas John. Stretching it a bit, I like Sara Jean (a lot). I also got the idea from a friend to do a sort of acronym... but nothing has really come up that I like. I like old-fashioned, long names. Any ideas?

Little trivia: Trent Lane is Jane Lane's brother in Daria, the MTV cartoon :P Daria has a crush on him.
