I really love the name Payne for a boy.  I first heard it on an episode of Designing Women and I liked it.  I heard it again in another tv show and I really liked it.  I'd love to use the name but just in case I don't have a second boy, I want my first son to have the middle name Manning.  Payne Manning sounds too much like Peyton Manning and that is not what I was going for.  My current favorite boy name that I would actually use is Deacon, so I thought Deacon Manning Payne Lastname sounded decent albeit very football player-ish.  My second name I would use was Thatcher Manning Payne.  I love the names Oliver, Caleb and Adam, but they are just too popular for me to actually use.  What do you think?  Do you have any suggestions?

I've only ever heard Payne used as a last name, and a word with negative connotations. Not a fan of it as a first or middle name (or really even a last name...)
