I am a fan of [some] names that are androgynous. However, I believe that certain spellings are more masculine, and some more feminine.
For Example: (Boy / Girl)
Baley / Bailey
Jordon / Jordan
Reilly / Riley
Jamey / Jaime (Jamie)
Do you agree, or disagree?
Do you have others to add?

Date: 2007-08-31 11:09 pm (UTC)Baley looks like it's pronounced "Baah-lee"
Jordan, with an a, is fine for both sexes.
Same as above with Jamie.
And I don't like "Riley" as a name for a boy or a girl. Too trendy.

"What's your name?"
"Reilly."
"Riley?"
"No. R-e-i-l-l-y."
They're going to have to spell out their name for the rest of their life. :|

I think of Bailey/Riley type of names as something you'd give your retriever, much in line with Dakota, etc. But that's just me, maybe?
