What do you think of the possible name Vidalia (vid-dale-yuh).  It could be a name I guess, it's actually a name of an onion that my dad had me buy at the grocery store today.  What do you think of it?

I like the sound of it, but would probably only use it for an animal, if that.

I wouldn't be able to hear it without thinking of the onion. It'd be like naming your daughter Valencia and not expecting people to think of the oranges, or Holstein and not think of cows.

If it wasn't for the onion connection, I don't think it would be that bad as a middle name, but I'd definitely be wary of using it.

Vidalia...I like the way it looks, but not how it sounds.

There's a country song about a girl named Vidalia, but I can't remember who sings it at the moment.

I can't get away from onions.

...it's an onion. A large, ugly, potent smelling onion. I don't think it's much of a name. For example, you wouldn't name your child Tomato or Kiwi, at least I hope.

WHUT.

Maybe only Georgians would be horrified by this. But.

.... no. Tangerine before Vidalia.

It's pretty. I also like Valencia, and Crescenza (which I had NOT realized is a type of cheese!)
