HELP!

I am currently 40 weeks and 3 days pregnant.

Originally our daughter was to be named Leila Margene Fischer - Margene after her paternal grandmother. Sufficient to say that she has done some things in the last few weeks that have changed our minds about giving her that name. We're still totally in love with Leila, we are just having a hard time coming up with a new middle name.

She has sisters by the names of Morgan Rain & Paige Elizabeth. My husband also detests traditional middle names like Marie, Rose, Ann etc etc.

We've discussed:
Emily
Jade
Jane
Grace
Shaye

But are not crazy about any of them. . . Any ideas? THANK YOU!

Question: Is whatever paternal grandmother doing/has done changing the entire past life she has lived being the father's mother? I mean, is it something to change such an honor over?

If so, I would go with a simple, single syllabel (cant spell that!) name with leila. :)

They tried to buy our oldest daughter Morgan and when we told them no they tried blackmailing us, making up that Morgan told them she was being sexually abused. Definitley NOT someone we want to honor.

Like "Hey, we want her to come live with us. So we'll give you $5,000 and we'll call it stress relief for you guys."

The most insulting was that they think we value her so little. I told them if they ever consider it again, 1) start in the millions, then it won't be such an insult and 2) I'm going to the police because it's a crime to sell a child.

Agreed. The only "family" name any of my kids has is my second has his father's first name, and my deceased baby brother's name as his Middle. And unless someone brings kids back from the dead, and he THEN ruins my life, I think its safe, LOL

Going through possibilities I decided taht I really liked the 'n' ending for the middle name. It just seemed to flow really well to me. Hopefully you find someting you like soon.

Also, I did this based on the pronounciation 'lay-luh.'
