I really don't like the name Aidan. I just never have liked it. I even know a little cute boy named Aidan, but I still seriously dislike the name.

Annabelle. I hate it with a firey passion. It makes me think of cows and prissy little brats. I'm sure there are more names I hate, but whenever I try to use nymbler it gives me Annabelle and nooooooooooooooooooooo i hate it.

Damon and Damien. Every time I see it or hear it I think of demons. That and I have met several little boys named Damon/Damien and lived up to that impression.

Unfortunately, Caitlin is getting there for me. I love the line in Baby Name Wizard where the author says something like "If you can't choose a name for your baby girl the hospital will name her Caitlin by default. However you will be allowed to choose the spelling." I used to love it but now it's way over used and if I see one more obnoxious "creative" spelling that further butchers what should be a perfectly lovely name I'm gonna hurl.

/end rant :)

I like Gideon, but I don't think I'd ever use it.

I dispise the name Abigail. I just find it revolting. I also hate the name Wolfgang.

Jayden/Jaden/Jaydon, etc. My sister and I used to play Dungeons and Dragons with a bunch of her friends, and one of the girls was skanky and named her kid Jayden, so it's been tainted for me ever since.

well, in its defense, at least it's a legit name! lol
I don't like it, but it makes think of Gwydion, although I'm not sure they are related in meaning/origin.

Isobel is the name I currently can't stand. There are many, many more, I'm sure, but that's the one off the top of my head. I love Isabella just too much to let the spelling be butchered lol.

I basically despise all italian female names, come to think of it LOL.
Mostly Anna and Marta, in addition of course to the typical old-fashioned pack, like Giovanna, Giuseppina etc.

Isabel/Isabelle/Isobel has been completely fucking ruined for me, partly in thanks to that horrid woman on Grey's Anatomy. Izzy is the worst nickname.

I hate the name Jennifer. I view it as the white-bread-and-butter of the naming world. That and Susan and Mary.

I hate Layla. I hate Bess and Beth. There are much better nicknames for the name Elizabeth.

There's a lot for me, but the only one I can think of at the moment is Cody. I haaate it. And I don't like 'Makayla'- only because of the spelling, I love Michaela.

lol, I like the name Gideon.

but hmm...I don't like the name Jennifer at all. I feel like it's way overused in my generation (I was born in the 80's). I also can't stand Ashley, Nicole, Brittany...those "valley girl" names.

For boys, I hate the names Chad, Troy, Brock--basically any "surfer" name.

I'm really getting quite sick of the names Abigail and every variation of Isabel or Isabella. Every time I have a conversation at work with a woman who is expecting and ask her if she has any names picked out, I always get Abigail or Isabel for an answer. So many times I'll hear some lady calling out "Bella! BELLA!" and I'm just like AUUUUGGGHHH! NOT ANOTHER ONE! I just dont understand their appeal. At all.

I also really don't like the name Matthew. I think it's because of the "ew" sound at the end. The same for Joshua.. it has "ew" right in the middle of it. And I hate Giselle. It has "jizz" in the sound, for crying out loud, people. Louise is also very ugly. It has "weeze" in it!

Any "mom" name I really can't stand. Alice, Deborah, Nancy, Martha, Joanne, Pamela, Patricia, etc. They're very blah.

So are 80s names. Jennifer, Caitlin, Megan, Heather, Jessica, Ashley, Amanda, etc. Also blah. And I hate the name Natalie because every Natalie I have ever met has been either annoying, stupid, or both.

I knew a complete asshole named Caleb so that name is forever destroyed in my mind.

I also agree with whoever said Beth is probably the worst nickname for Elizabeth ever.

Pretty much any name that has some random sound at the beginning then "lyn/lin" or "den/dan/ten/ton" slapped on the end of it. Jazlyn, Kaylin, Brayden, Aidan, Cayden, Peyton.. etc, etc.

Super trendy names... Madison, Addison, Ava, Nevaeh, etc. You all know the type.

And occupation/label names. Christian, Hunter, etc. No one needs to give their child a name like this. There are plenty of others that wont shove them into a stereotype the minute they step foot in school.

And that's all I can think of right now.

I have an unhealthy hatred of the name Kaylee/Kalie/Kayeleighee<-- actually met a girl whose name was spelled like that! It looks like someone took Scrabble tiles, and shook them out of the bag, then used the ones on the floor to name their kid.

I also really dislike Gisele, Dave, Steve, Nicole, Brittany, Pamela, Patricia, Mary, Heather, Amanada, and Brad.

Also: Dakota, Savannah, Sierra, Sienna, Montana, Alabama. Plz to not be naming daughter after word in your cultural geography textbook thx. Isthmus, is that you? Mind your little brother Saskatchewan!
