I've seen Kasia.
My friend as a daughter named Kasia but pronounces it Kas-ee-uh.

Cassia is Kah-ss-ee-ah, at least in italian.
But I know Kasia is pronounced like Kah-sha.

I've met a Cassia. I think that, usually, the A is slightly shorter and more twangy, like "cash", as opposed to the Kasia, which I've heard as a bit longer, the AH sound.
