What names do you think Des could be short for? It popped in my mind and I'm liking the sound, but all I can think of is Desirée and Desideria (girls' names).

Adesse (ad-ess-a). Latin, means "to be present". I saw it used once as a name and it stuck with me.

Mallory's all right, but I don't really like the rest of the names.

Hah, that makes me think of the Texan town Odessa. I definitely would never name a child after that craphole.
