So...I admit I am addicted to "Greys Anatomy." I was watching the DVD"s the past few days and wanted to know what everyone throught of their names

I LOVE Isobel (Izzie). Miranda and Meredith are growing on me. Cristina is nice.
I'm not crazy about the guys names except I like Alex...but my cousin named her son Alexander so thats out.
I also like Mark but its my ex's name so thats def out lol
I really like Emily. Kate is great but I can't use it (too many in my family) and Charlotte is growing on me.

I'm not a huge fan of the name Cristina - but I much prefer this spelling in comparison Christina - not sure why I am so anti-"h" haha

One of my favourite names is Zona, for a girl.
Do you remember way back 1st season...they guy that accidentally shot nails into his head? Zona was his wifes name. That's where i got it from lol.

Meredith is actually growing on me. I think it's really cute.
Not a fan of Cristina lacking an 'h'.
I'm sick and tired of Addison, though; isn't that a disease anyway? I'm not too sure.
LOVE Adele. It's my grandmother's name and I plan on working it into future daughter's names.

The quintuplet's names are alright. I like Charlotte the most (a girl goes to my school with this name and pronounces it Shar-LOT. Ick.)

I like Alex, George, and Thatcher, although the only one I'd probably use is Alex.

For girls, I LOVE Olivia and Miranda and both of them are on my list, although I probably won't use either of them. I also like Christina, but with an h. It looks weird without it to me.

As for the quintuplets, I think the names are gorgeous. All of them are on my list in one form or another: Charlotte & Emily, then I also have Kate as a nickname for Kathryn, Lucy as a nickname for Louisa, and Julia instead of Julie.

I used to not like the name Meredith, but it has been growing on me lately. I actually added it to my favs list. I'll admit I love the name Addison because I love the character and Kate Walsh. I doubt I'd use it though because of how popular it has become. I've liked the names George and Callie before I even watched Grey's, so I didn't get those names from the show. I *love* the name Thatcher though. I knew it was Meredith's father's name but I never quite registered it in my mind as a name I'd like until my friend mentioned it and I fell in love with it.

I love Isobel (though they don't pronounce it right on the show. It is not the same as Isabel/Isabelle!), George, Meredith (though it's really masculine and I would probably rather name my son this), Addison (again, though, on a boy), Olivia, and Adele.

And when I first saw the quints episode, I remember saying to myself, "what a lovely set of siblings!" They are all nice individually and they sound awesome together.

I hate Isobel... I prefer Isabel or Isabelle... Isobel is becoming so trendy as an "alternative" to Isabel.. it's annoying... But I adore the NN Izzy.. I plan to use it with my Elisabeth daughter in the future.

As for the others...

Meredith, Derek, Alexander, Mark, and I adore the quints names.

Meredith = I like it on young girls, but not women.
Cristina = I like Christina
Isobel "Izzie" = I hate-hate-hate Isobel with an 'o'. I'm in love with Isabella, Izzy for a nn
Alex = really plain for a guy, but it does sound good. I like it on a girl
George = way too old fashioned
Miranda = way too 80's. I like it better pronounced Mee-RAN-dah instead of Mee-rahn-dah.
Richard = so 40's lol to me it has sentimental value, though
Preston = if Britney hadn't ruined it for us all, I'd say it's very elegant and JamesBond-ish
Derek = I don't mind how it sounds, although it can get confused with Derrick, so it falls into that type of names I'd never consider, for that reason. I like it spelled like this though.
Addison (soo soo trendy) = noooo way. It's a mix between Allison and Maddison, just awful
Callie = LOVE it. I've considered it as short for the name Calia, together with Kelly.
Joe = b-o-r-i-n-g
Mark = I've never liked about this name that it's also a word, mark as in grade, and mark as in currency
Olivia = sounds a little stuck up to me, but I think Olive is pretty sweet
Tyler = LIKE it a lot. I tend to like 'y's and -ler/-lor in boys' names
Ellis = I like Ellison
Denny = nope
Thatcher = nope!
Adele = nope!!

ps. the quintuplets' names sound like they were really trying to give them all classical names. I really like Emily and Kate, Lucy a bit, but the others not so much.

I admit it too: I've liked Isobel since I started watching Grey's =P It's on my list. I don't really care for the other names though.
As for the 5 babies...I always thought Kate, Emily & Julie sound so cute together (and apart, too) but I don't really like the other two names =)

I really think Addison is only popular BECAUSE of Grey's. I never heard it befoe then.

I LOVE the quints names, and on that episode they also had triplet brothers and I remember loving them too, but I don't remember what they were. I think one was Graham.

Meredith- i know a few people with the name. its cute but not a LOVE.
Isobel "Izzie"-hate this spelling like other people. i prefer Isabella.
Derek -i think its a solid name and idont see it around often enough.
Addison- yes trendy but i love it
Callie-this is my most favorite of all them. i love this name
Mark-simple but good
Olivia- ive liked this name since i saw She's the Man.
Tyler-i think its cute
Denny-like it but it makes me think of the restaurant! lol

I think the 5 girls names go really well all together. Kate is the only one im not to fond of but it works here. :)

I don't watch the show, so when I started seeing these names I thought I was going crazy. i LOVE most of the girls names. The only thing I think is weird is that lot's of the names are kind of trendy, and have been since the show started, so it's like the characters were just named according to "cool" names people had heard on the street. It's kind of unrealistic I think. As a side note, the whole Seattle thing is also really unrealistic. Why can't Hollywood get it right?

Meredith & George were on my list ages ago, but I forgot about them until the show started then hearing them again reminded me how much I like them [then found out my cousin is using George for her son, so now I can't use it].

Izzie as a character irritates me no end, so it's totally put me off the name. But I still like Isobel for other reasons.

I used to mentor a girl named Ellis. The name really suited her, so I quite like it though not enough to use myself.

The quints names are nice and work well together. I'm not so keen on Julie though, it seems a bit dated compared to the other names (would have prefered Julia or Juliet).

I really liked Meredith until I saw Grey's Anatomy. Now Meredith sounds like a really whiny girl's name. I feel the same way about Isobel/Izzie.
