What are some names that have Ana as a nickname. I like Anastasia but only pronounced (Ana-stay-see-ya) not (Ana-staysh-a), and I know that if a child was named Anastasia more than likely they'd be called the latter and eurghhh. Anyway, help please =D

I automatically pronounce Anastasia as 'aw-na-STAWs-ee-a', but that might just be because I knew someone who pronounced it like that.

Annabelle
Ariana
Bianca
Juliana
Lilliana

I think anything with an "an" would work.

are you saying ana like aw-nuh or ann-uh?
i like anna better than ana, spelling wise, because ana seems to close to anus...sorry.
but overall it's a good name.
you could just call her ana. but if you want a longer name, i think you have a lot of options.
anabelle/anabella
mariana
analisa
leanna
analie (this sounds a lot like anally, though)
riana
briana
gianna
deanna
christiana
etc.

Do you pronounce Ana ah-nuh or an-uh? If you pronounce it ah-nuh (like i do), Ana can be a nickname for the Maori name Anahera (ah-nuh-here-ah)
