Jul. 7th, 2007 09:13 amAt a bachelorette party last night, we were offering suggestions to the bride (who is pregnant) on baby names, and someone jokingly said that she should name her baby after a god/goddess. She ended up liking the idea! So we're looking for names.
She likes Celtic, Norse, and Greek names... but she doesn't want a name that is too "out there" and she doesn't want a name that means something terrible. She really liked the name Eris, but then found out that she was the goddess of discord and rivalry, and definitely did not want that as a name. Any suggestions?
ETA: She is also open to the idea of any characters within mythology. She likes the name Rota, who is a valkyrie in Norse mythology. So any suggestions in that area would be great too.
