Place names.
Jul. 6th, 2007 10:37 pmI'm not particularly fond of place names as names (except maybe Florence), but as I am super-dooper bored, I felt like making a list of places, that I can remember having heard, people (including fictional people, of course) are actually called, or that I might have read someone on this group considering.
I would like to thank Wikipedia and www.thinkbabynames.com for all its help in my bout of procrastination.

I didn't bother listing countries that are named after saints (eg. San Marino, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, etc.) because they're names already, and I suppose that you wouldn't immediately recognised them as place names on their own.

Date: 2007-07-07 04:34 am (UTC)I like Florence & Geneva as names, and strangely enough I've always liked the sound of Lourdes. It's pretty =)
