I have been looking more into the traditional Gaelic/old Irish names that are still around and in existance...
the colored lettering ones are the ones i really like. the others are just... interesting and the ones that i think could grow on me.

i have to agree. names with the 'bh' in them kill me... like Shiobhan, Aobh, Aoibheann. I know how to say them, but A LOT of people don't.

it is not bad in a place like Ireland, where a person would know how to pronounce it, because they see it regularly. but here, in the US, that's just asking for your name to butchered everyday of their life... even when they correct people, they still will probably read it & go back to sounding it out.

granted, there ARE some names/spellings that will happen to anyway, i understand.
