babynamesIf I remember correctly someone posted not too long ago about meeting a pair of twins named Melinda and Melissa. I now have proof that those names are a little too similar.
My name is Melinda and I just happened to glance at an appointment card where they listed my name as Melissa. Poor little girls.
On a sidenote, does anyone else with a fairly unique name have this problem? It doesn't happen too much, but I've also had instances of being called Melanie (by a teacher no less).

Names I have been called:
Melissa
Larissa
Clarissa
Alyssa
I can understand how someone might mistake my name for Melissa, but the others just baffle me.
