What are your favorite Twin/Triplet name sets? I never really thought about it until earlier the other day watching TV, and I honestly have no 'cute but not corny' ideas. Most of mine ended up being my favorite names, haha. Nothing that 'fit nicely'.

Opinions on twin names? Silly things like alliteration or male/female names?

In my opinion, overly corny Examples:
Virginia and Georgia
Michael and Michelle
Jack and Diane
James and Jane
Casey and Stacy
Taylor and Tyler
Charles and Charlotte

Haha, I love Jack and Diane!

My favourite are Emilie and Julia and Michael and Nicholas. I also like Anna and Tess.

Forgot to add that my twin friends, Christine and Linda, were almost named Emilie and Amelie before their parents came to their senses.

If I had the guts to actually use the name, I'd like the twin set Georgia and Kansas. Kansas is a bit too out there for me to actually use, but I do love Georgia.

I knew of twins named Erin and Aaron.
I know father and son Larry and Terry. (yes it was on purpose)

I think I would name my twins Thelma and Louise. Or Harold and Maude. ;-)

if i had twins/triplets, i'd name them some combination of: samuel michael, benjamin atticus, and henry robert & eliza adrienne, louisa margaret, and amelia eleanor.

i've also always liked combinations of noah, jonah, sarah, hannah, and elijah because they all fit together without being overly matchy.

i love both names, too (obviously lol).

michael is after my brother (michael paul) and adrienne is after my best friend (adrienne elizabeth).

it is a great name, and if i don't use it as a middle name for a daughter, i might change the spelling to adrian and use it as a middle name for a son, instead. it's one of the few names i actually like on both genders, and i adore my best friend, so that makes me love the name even more lol.

If I had twins, I'd probably just pick the names that were at the top of my list.

Boy/boy- Henry and Beckett (perhaps August?)
Boy/girl- Henry and Rory (recent favourite of mine, either that or Natalie)
Girl/Girl- Probably Rory and Natalie, I'm not sure.

Triplets are basically the same.
I don't think I'd use a specific scheme in naming them.

Masculine and feminine versions of the same name irk me to death, like Michael and Michelle, and don't even get me started on Taylor and Tyler.
When I was about twelve I discovered that by rearranging the letters of "Allie" you can spell "Leila", and went through a phase of wanting twin girls so I could name them that. But then I gave the names to fish, which I think was much more suitable. :p

twin girls: Rosalind Isolde & Gemma Faye
twin boys: James Caspian & John William
twin boy/girl: Rosalind Faye & James Caspian
girl/girl/girl: Rosalind Isolde, Gemma Faye, Arden Katherina
boy/boy/boy: James Caspian, John William, Edward Leo
boy/boy/girl: James Caspian, John William, Rosalind Isolde
girl/girl/boy: Rosalind Isolde, Gemma Faye, James Caspian

For the most part I think alliterive names aren't the best idea, but I absolutely love John and James. They're my favorite boys' names and I can't get around that. And another problem is that they both have one syllable. But I love them. =\ So hopefully I never have twin boys, lol.

My cousin just had twin girls named Kasidy and Kaylin... Not fond of either of those.

I don't like similar or themey names for twins, unless it's really not obvious. It just bugs me. Twins are two separate people, not some kind of cutesy gimmick. If I had twins or triplets I'd just name them my favourite names.

While they are not twins, there are two kids in the summer camp I am working at this summer that are 14 months apart- Christian and Christina.

I personally would probably not give matching names to my kids if I had multiples. My brother and sister are twins- they are Ryan and Lindsay

if I had boy/boy twins they'd be vincent and victor. I have been set on those since I fell in love with the vega brothers.
