More customer names I've noticed:
-Cyrenthia
-Dee Wren (on a man)
-Delois (duh-LO-iss...ugh)
-Delyott (DEL-ee-ut)
-Dieniel (somehow still pronounced like Daniel; not a typo, I saw the guy's credit card)
-Dorres (ugh)
-Elexandrew (actually not a customer, but a coworker's relative; she asked if I'd ever heard of the name before, and I said I had not; I looked it up on Google and it seems it was a legitimate first name at one time)
-Leorna (male)
-Javeier (guys, come on, guys)
-Josa (male)
-Leno (poor man)
-Letia
-Linnie Bliss (very sweet old woman)
-Linnie Ray (female; from a very rich local family)
-Lowell
-Lubov (female; not even remotely foreign; very thick Brooklyn accent, though)
-Meares (male; mother's maiden name, maybe?)
-Melville (big reader?)
-Oizel (not foreign)
-Orval Junior (his middle name was, in fact, Junior)
-Salinda
-Shary Keil (male, and not foreign)

Date: 2007-06-23 07:43 pm (UTC)Javeier...are you sure it wasn't Javier? Because if so, that's a pretty common Spanish name.
Lubov (Lyubov) is legit, it's the Russian word for "love" and it is also a common name.

Date: 2007-06-23 09:12 pm (UTC)I mentioned Javeier for the very reason that it was a pointless misspelling of Javier. Yes, I'm sure it was Javeier; I had to check the guy's ID, and it was spelled as such on there.
I'm also familiar with Lubov, which is why I mentioned that the holder was not foreign. It just seems fairly out of place on an obnoxious, loud New Yorker.
