Jun. 15th, 2007 04:54 pmMy cousin (Brett) and his wife (Ryan) just had a little girl, who they named Gabbi (I dont know the middle name). It's just Gabbi, not Gabrielle or anything like that. Now, I know some of you are all "why give the kid a name if you're just going to call them by a nick name" but I like having a formal name and a nickname, and really wish they had gone with Gabrielle/Gabriella or something like that. WDYT?
Also, my mom says that Gabrielle is geting to be trendy? I don't have a lot of contact with younger children so I can't say...

Date: 2007-06-15 11:58 pm (UTC)We couldn't agree. He calls him "Colson", I call him "Cole".
Some people think "Cole" is a child's name, so why would I want to stick my baby with something associated to young generations?
