I work in child care in the nursery room and we got a new kid the other day named Noa (prn same as Noah). Noa was dressed in a blue shirt and jeans with black pumps. When I went to change Noa's nappy...surprise! Noa was a GIRL! I had been saying "good boy!" to her all morning! I felt so bad!

So what do you think about gender swapping names? Good? Bad? Don't care?

I don't mind unisex names or formerlly boys names on girls. For the most part I actually like the name better on girls than boys (Meredith, Ashley, Lindsey, etc.). But not Ryan. I think that name should be left to the boys (I like it, just not for girls).

One thing that does bother me is when people give girls a boys name when there is a feminization of the name already.
