Date: 2007-06-11 10:17 pm (UTC)I think Anne is too simple to merit a nickname, especially since Hannah has more syllables.

Date: 2007-06-12 03:05 am (UTC)As a Hannah, I really don't see how you get that from Anne. I can see Ann(e) from Hannah, but Hannah's never really been a nicknamable name for me, same for Anne... well, maybe Annie, but thats a different story

Date: 2007-06-12 12:35 pm (UTC)Emality sounds to Mortal Kombatish for my tastes.
I support the name of Billings.

Date: 2007-06-12 01:37 pm (UTC)lol having Hattie as one of many middle names for Harriet seems redundant.
For these really old names it's hard to know if they really were spelled wrongly - some of my ancestors had typos on their birth certs, or the person who registerd the birth couldn't spell but everyone else in their life spelled it properly, and it was no big deal back then.
