Hi! I've been hanging around here for a while and decided I'd finally post. My name is Jessica, but online I go by Becka (Rebecka Alanna Madden being my penname). On the topic of pennames, I'm in the process of writing a story and I desperately need help. I only have a first, middle and last name for one character.   The others only have a first name and last name. . . or just a first name. I would really like to finish the story, but I think that the characters not having names is hindering the whole process. Help, please! I'll name all the characters I do have. I figured that if I was stuck on names, here would be the perfect place to go ^_^.

So, those are my characters names. I would really like a middle and last name for all of them, though I suppose they don't direly need middle names. By the way, the story is about vampires. . .maybe that'll help. Thanx!

I'm a writer, too, I know how it goes.

You'll have to be more specific. What are the personalities of each character? What kind of world do they live in? Are they vampires themselves? Are vampires widely accepted? How old are these characters? Are any of them related and/or dating? How crucial is it that we remember their full names?

A middle name isn't crucial, but it would be cool to have one, because it fills in more background detail. I agree with your want for them.

The characters that you have completely named seem to have an unusual name for a first name and then a common last name. Was this intentional?

I'm also a writer- and I agree with silver05 and mpepper, as far as needing to know more about them. Also, I suggest that you check out some baby-naming sites on the internet, such as babynamesworld.com or babycenter.com/babyname/ Since you can search by origin, meaning, first letter, etc. they're very helpful. When I can't find names, that's where I go.
