The main setback to the name Wanye that I see is that most people would probably assume it was mistyped or misprinted and Wayne was what was intended. That boy (or...is it a female name?) would have some 'splainin' to do.

yeah, i know it looks like a major typo. it wouldn't be until my child or i pronounced it that ppl would realize that it wasn't.

i guess the reason i'm not too worried about it, is b/c i've spent my entire life clarifying to people that "yes, my legal birth name is Alexandria w/ an 'e', but I go by and have gone by Alix with an 'i' my entire life. and no, i am not retarded and misspelling my own name."

so to me, accidently calling them 'Wayne' the first time, or misspelling it a few times until they're used to it isn't too much.

Layla is a nice name. It was the name that struck me the most and caught my eye. Amara is nice as well! XD

Liam and Shane are nice names. I'm not too partial with Micah because it's a unisexual name.

i liked Amara, Melisande & Samira. but the more i look at Layla... the more it kinda starts to grow on me....

Amara is nice too. Melisande looks like a nice name but it seems a bit hard to pronounce, I'd have a difficult time if I was the teacher of her class. :)
