here is a pic of me as a small child.. wasnt i adorable?  plus my name since you all guessed and no one got it right. =)

My name is Tamarind. It is a tree that grows in the tropics and produces fruit like pods used in asian and hispanic cultures.
My mother was asian my father a professional gardner so they chose a name that had something to do with things they both loved. Plants and asian culture.

In HS friends called me Tamie and some people still do but I think Ive mostly grown out of the name since school days. Most family just calls me Tam.
