But what do you think of the name Nevaeh? Love it? Hate it?

It is in the top 50 girls names for 2006, so I'm sure a lot of people must like it, but in my opinion, it's just a cheezy novelty name. I'd like to hear your perspectives.

I think what's even worse is Traeh. It was featured in last months' Parents magazine as a 'unique' name, and someone's already written in this month saying "omg I loved that name and now my baby is named Traeh!"

I don't like it at all. I somehow missed out on hearing of it until recently. I kept seeing it and wondering where the hell it came from. Of course, it wasn't long before I saw the explanation. It didn't better it in my opinion.

It depends, I have heard it pronounced multiple ways.

"Na-vay" or "Na-vay-uh".

The first pronouncation isn't that bad, but they second one I am not a fan of. But Heaven backwards is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of.

It is such a stupid name. I agree with those who say it doesn't sound TOO bad (actually I think the word "heaven" sounds worse, I don't like the sound of the word itself)... but the idea behind the name is so stupid and ridiculous, especially since the result of spelling heaven backwards is such a mangled up spelling.

I really liked it when I was like 14 and first heard it, but now I think it's a cheesy novelty name. The first time I heard it, and how I thought it got popular, was because one of the guys from the band POD named his daughter that and he was talking about it on some TV special about him and his life.
